Cloth Diaper Give-away!!

I found this Bum Genius give-away through Elita's Blog (Thanks, Elita!) These are the exact diapers we use and love!! We already have enough, but it can't hurt to have more or perhaps gift them around town to some of my friends, you know, to get them hooked on cloth. Make sure you enter by August 6!

I feel like such a lazy and bad mom for not using cloth sometimes. I just know there is now way I could do laundry every 2-3 days. I looked into a local service and it was $20 a week!

Don't feel guilty, you are not a bad mom! BUT, the laundry thing is seriously not as bad as you think. Cloth diapering is a commitment in a similar respect to breastfeeding being a commitment. When you have to do something for your baby, you do it. I personally have always dreaded doing laundry, I used to let it pile up for weeks at a time, but this is just different. I would encourage you to at least try it, but if you don't, that's OK too. You are doing a lot of other things that are good for your baby :)

Laundry is not that bad. I have a 15 mo old and do not use a sprayer. I use liners-if there is poop I throw it out in the diaper pail (I used for disposables). If there is no poop, it gets laundered with the diaper and reused until it is thrown out with poop.

Thansk Nic for the post!

I need to interview you for a birthing story post coming to my blog!
